Sneakers may be meant to be worn – but that doesn't mean they should look worn out.
Want to keep your kicks fresh, clean and ready for every step? Then you need a good cleaning kit.
Here's how to do it right.
1. Start with the right stuff
A good sneaker cleaning kit usually contains:
-
Cleaning fluid
-
Brush (soft for the upper, harder for the sole)
-
Microfiber cloth
Invest in a quality kit – cheap solutions = cheap results.
2. Pretreat the dirt
Remove the laces. Brush off any surface dirt with a dry brush.
Always work from the outside in – the sole last.
3. Clean properly
-
Lightly dampen the brush
-
Apply the cleaner
-
Brush in circular motions
-
Dry with a microfiber cloth
TIP: Avoid soaking your shoes – especially mesh or suede.
4. Air dry – don’t stress
Place the sneakers in a ventilated place. No radiator, no dryer.
Let them rest. You'll get them back clean, fresh and ready for the next mission.
5. Follow, don't just "save"
Sneaker care isn't about "saving disasters" - it's about staying on top of things.
Clean regularly, and your kicks will last longer – both in style and feel.
